HOW TO KEEP THE FORUM SIZZLING?
One good way To keep the forum sizzling is to realize that it is always necessary to reply to articles. When somebody writes here they took the time to talk to
you, or to ask a question, or to share their life with you. It isn't very good
when there are no replies, or only one or two. few replies. It is quite possible that they will ask themselves why they ever bothered to write.
THE POTENTIAL IS THERE
This place is supposed to be a conversation. Sometimes it seems that lots of people are reading, but very few are bothering to take part. Just look at how many have read the article at the top of the page about writing a resume. Very many read it. That's the kind of numbers we can pull to articles on this page.
Then look again at all the 4 and 5 star articles and see how many replies or readers they have had.
HOW TO EASILY AND QUICKLY ACCESS ALL NEW ARTICLES WHENEVER YOU CHECK IN
There are a lot of articles that are never read by anybody. They are buried underneath root articles as replies. It is not hard to read all of them quickly.
All you need to do is use the search button at the top of the page beside the post button every time you log on. If you write one little reply to one of them,
yours will pop up next time you look and you'll know exactly how far to read down. Just go down to your own name and you will have read everything new. You can write your replies as you read. Any reply that you decide should be a root article may be cut out of the reply form and repasted as a root by using the post
button. You will need to log on again for it to work, but that's not hard.
Right now Tim has a very interesting reply buried under a root article. Try to
find it.
If you don't leave Canuck's influence in the name the forum will not be related
to this one any more. Then you shouldn't take articles from here to the otherforum automatically without checking each time with the writer. Remember that
Hongen owns the copyrite, and so does the writer. You don't have the right toappropriate whatever seems useful.
