Doggie Mini
Yesterday a very good friend of mine in the US sent me an e-mail telling me that his pet dog Mini had died. My friend cried like a baby these days because he had been so emotionally tied with this lovely doggy. Mini suffered from a cancer and experienced severe pain. After failing numerous cures, my friend finally decided to put him to rest. That made him real heart-breaking.
Mini was indeed a cute and lovely pet. She was a tiny fatty creature with a round face, exceedingly big eyes and a short tail. When you talked to her, she listened to you attentively with eye balls focusing on you and two ears standing up. Even though I visited the States every six months or one year, every time she saw me, she recognized me and always gave me a warm bark greeting. After playing with her for a little while, she was all over you. She could smile to you with mouth wide open and eyes half closed looking like every inch of smiling. When you asked her to give you a little kiss, she would lick your face with her soft tongue making you feel soothing. Her favorite game was hide-and-seek. Whenever you deliberately said “where is my little Mini? I can not find her,” she immediately ran behind something or under the bed to hide. When you actually saw her under the bed, she was still trying to retreat back and cover her eyes with her paws pretending she was not seeing you. Mini did not like being photographed and she hated bath even more. So, sometimes I just teased her by saying “Does anybody here like to have a bath?” She just dashed out at the drop of a hat. That was exactly like a naughty kid. She liked to go out to take a ride very much. Whenever you mentioned the magic word” GO”, she immediately got excited jumping up and down, yelling at another pet Micky like crazy ( meaning you stay home watching the door and I am going out for fun), getting her own leash and barking to tell you she is ready to go…
All these images left a deep and lasting impression on me. But now she is gone with wind. May this little lovely soul be blessed with eternal peace in the paradise!
