A crazy horse
One day at the end of August, the weather was still hot, but everything seemed to be well-ordered in this city. However, a crazy black BMW rushed into the city
suddenly and the peace was broken. During 3 or 4 hours, it was driven straight in most of the main roads and about 19 other cars and 2 motorbikes were cracked up. One policeman and one driver were injured. The other policemen shot off and warned the driver of the BMW to stop, but the young driver seemed to ignore all these serious warnings. He went on driving his crippled car quickly along the road and almost made the city into the troubled waters.
Who was he? What was he doing? And what was he going to do? Every nerve of the news reporters was tightened up. They all thought the day had come. The whole pursuit appeared very soon on TV. And the answers to all the citizens’ questions were revealed.
The driver of the BMW car was a 25-year-old young man. His name was Zhao Qi. When he was arrested, he was drunk and was suspected of having taken drugs. The next day, ZhaoQi’s mother apologized to the citizens, especially to the victims, for her son’s crime. She cried with tears, “ My husband and I have several factories. We have been very busy for these years. When Zhao Qi made mistakes, his father always gave him a good beat. We seldom calmed down to talk to him. So today I must apologize to the car owners and the injured policeman. When the crime happened, all the family members seemed to be driven to the last ditch. I don’t
think I can get to sleep tonight……”
Many people watched the news with the feeling of surprise and pity. Even today the audiences are still curious about the fate of the young man. But what I think
most is the family education. Many Chinese parents think if they are rich enough, they can afford their children a good education. We can’t say it is completely wrong. But when they use up all their time and all the energy in making money
and ignore the proper family education, I don’t think their original intention
will be achieved. Do you know the children are observing you, learning from your behaviors and words all the time? When I find this, I have to make up my mind
to be cautious to my words and behaviors in front of my Nenoh.
I think family education is a strange thing. It seems to have nothing direct to
do with the fortune, power and the diploma, but it is mostly due to the parents’
moral level.
I am saying this because I think of the story of Chen Chusheng, the winner of the singing competition of Happy Boys. When he entered the final competition this
summer, he told us that he had learned a lot from his father. His father’s business failed when Chusheng was a child. Chusheng saw his father working very hard
to repay the debt. His father’s honesty and staidness have been encouraging him since then. Chusheng is 27 years old. His family education and his effort make
