Put the cart before the horse
I read a story days ago. There once lived a lion, the king of the animals in a forest. His wife was terribly ill and died at last. The king looked saddly at the body of his wife for days, without eating and drinking anything. So the other animals said to him , "Since she has passed away, just bury her and let her leave peacefully." The King thought it reasonable, so he held a grand funeral for her, and built a luxurious tomb for her. Ever since then, the King would take a walk around there when he was free . And he found one day that the tomb stood so lonely there and was not good looking at all. So he grew many beautiful flowers around it. Before long, he felt that something was stilled needed around the tomb, he thought and thought, then planted some trees around it. Years passed by, and the trees and flowers grew flourishing and gross. The King almost lost in the beautiful scene. One day, while he was walking about there, he found suddenly that something deficient among them. He thougt for a while and found that it was the tomb. It was so outstanding and destroyed the beautiful scene completely. So he gave out and order, and moved the tomb away. The King finally got satisfied, but he had forgotten the reason why he tried to beautify this place at the beginning.
Maybe we would think that it is impossible for anyone to do such stupid things. Yet many people have done or are doing such things. They get married, in order to live together with their beloved; they tried their best to work hard to earn a better and happier life for their beloved. But it's usally the case that they are being more and more unfamiliar, while their living standard is getting higher and higher, some even say good-bye to their beloved at last. Cleverer are human beings than the lion, but we are making the same mistake as the lion, and put the cart before the horse.
