We are certainly talking about more than Olympic Games now
Hi Pan, Neil Jenny, Jeannie, Tim, and all interested friends,
It's only a hundred years since your people lived in China, Neil? Even lowly worms have been proven to have "race memory" passed from generation to generation.
That is memory from the ancestors that has been learned from experience and somehow passed down to the descendants, so that they haven't lost what the ancestors learned. Imagine the qualities and characteristics that can emerge from you oryour children and descendants! Surely we humans must have this unconscious memory from those who went before us, too. You have yours innate in you from of allof your ancestors' wise and civilized experiences,I have what mine learned as we all have, and we can be glad of them. Probably we have some that were helpfulin the past and still are in the present, and some that have become negative ones in this new age. As we learn responses that work for our time these will be
passed inwardly and outwardly to the ones who come after us, and will make behaviour for a united world more easy for them.
What Muhammad said to some followers was "Trust in God, and tie your camels."
This in my opinion, is a good approach to balance in life. Don't be naive -- bebalanced.
I wrote about humanity being one organism, so here are some examples ofhow connections work among us. Have you ever been present when a crowd was
getting together and something was changing in the mix of the mass? I have. It
is a remarkably exhilarating feeling that is generated like sparks passing fromperson to person. There is a feeling of prickling excitement rising. If you ever feel it, although it is enjoyable, get well away from the area immediately.
Humans in crowds easily turn into mobs and then they are dangerous. You neverknow what they will do once they turn into a mob. Masses of people all being swayed in the same direction by some kind of connection, as they were in Montreal
last weekend after the big game. Crowds can turn into frightening, dangerous mobs, just as harmless grasshoppers in large numbers will literally change their appearance and become the cloud of locusts that strips everything in their path.
You have 1.3 billion people and your leaders know this.
There are times that are ripe for change. Suddenly everybody sees the need for
it and changes occur with ease. These are usually good change, developmental change and not destructive change. Such a time seems to be coming closer. It ischange toward all of us getting along with each other.
Here's another example of what seems like a ripe time, or hidden communicationamong the organism of humans: a scientific problem needs to be solved; a researcher has found the answer. If he is wise he will publish just as soon as possible because there is sure to be another yet unknown scientist working away on theother side of the world who just made the same discovery at the same time and unknown to either one, they are in a race to see who gets the discovery published
first and is accepted as the originator of the discovery.
There is a time for everything. We need to try to work with flows and seasons in a positive way. That's why all of us should do our best to breathe the best kind of spirit into the world since we as individuals can help to forward the peace, unity and positive development of humankind.
Baha'u'llah said "When a thought of war comes oppose it by a stronger thought ofpeace. A thought of hatred must be destroyed by a more powerful thought of love
.Thoughts of war bring destruction to all harmony, well-being, restfulness and
content. Thoughts of love are constructive of brotherhood, peace, friendship and
happiness...If you desire with all your heart, friendship with every race on
earth, your thought,spiritual and positive, will become the desire of others, growing stronger and stronger, until it reaches the minds of all men."
Change in the order of this world must come because it's the logical next step,
and great natural pressures are on that make it necessary. We are still a long way from realizing that hate and war must end, and so let's not
add to barriers of negativity, let's try to swing the balance of the people of the world's feelings toward peace and love.
Pan, I wonder if you still think that I'm being naive? Being naive is useless.
Furthermore, I have found from experience that it is easier to get into a rageand let the anger and hatred fly than it is to learn this other way which isnewer to us and takes thought, understanding and discipline. Our ancient experiences have taught us that hate and anger generate lots of energy
to overcome and kill the enemy. Today we need to become friends and neighbours
on this vulnerable little planet.
