A Special Man I Met
I met a man I know him nothing.
I didn’t know him until I received his three pieces of message in my postbox. I
have not opened my box for half a month. So I didn't reply him in time. To be polite to him, I left him my mobile phone number. The next day my phone rang, I
saw a strange number when I had a foreboding that it must be Richard speaking. He had a good voice with speaking a mouthful fluent English. I didn’t know when
he hung up，just felt it was around one minute he spoke to me. I answered him just only yes or no. Then he promised he would call me every day if he stayed in QuanZhou, which is not far away Xiamen I am now live in. That was the first time
he called me.
After his first call, I became very nervous. I was afraid that he called me again whilst I was expecting something happed to me. There wasn't any in two days. With a great disappointment I opened my box. I tried to send him much information
. To my surprise, I saw the message he wrote me in it. He told me he would go to
HK for business trip where he would stay for a week. He would contact me as soon as he return to QuanZhou. That was it! My nervous frame of mind at last went calm.
I studied harder than before in those days for being able to communicate my ideas clearly when he called me again.
Time passed quickly. I counted the date that he would come back. I began to become nervous again as his return was coming.
He gave me a call on Wednesday this week. I listened to him very well and was able to answered him serenely. However, I couldn't reply to him a few questions he
asked. Because I can listen to him clearly but can't express myself correctly.
Still, he gave me a high praise, which indeed encouraged me a lot. During our chat, I tried to ask him where he came from and if he could speak some Chinese. He
kept silent for a second and didn't answer me. In the end of our talk, he asked me he would be waiting for my call. I promised I would do soon. This was the second time we were on line.
It is Saturday today. Two days past. I don't still give him my promise. I have dialled his number for many times but I failed. I have no idea as to how to start
our talk though I have prepared a few nice words for the beginning. whatever does it worry me?
May there must be something done immediately.
